YESAction was founded as a call to global action: young people don't have to wait until they're older to lead environmental change. They can do it now — and they should.What began as a single chapter has grown into a network of student-led teams running real initiatives: water quality testing, school gardens, sustainable cooking workshops, advocacy campaigns. The chapter model is what makes YESAction work. Every chapter is run by students, for students, addressing the environmental needs of their specific community.Today, YESAction is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with active programs across the United States and China — and we're just getting started.
