So, what exactly defines YESOutreach? 

First and foremost, it is an endeavor that aims to be engaging and enjoyable. Students are encouraged to actively participate in their local communities by hosting interesting booths, organizing memorable events, and making tangible positive contributions. However, the benefits extend beyond community involvement. While not excessively difficult, this initiative promises to equip students with essential life skills. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their public speaking abilities and enhance their presentation techniques, resulting in a comprehensive learning experience.

Our vision is to promote environmental sustainability and uphold the values and objectives of  YESAction. To achieve this, we have three specific objectives.
 

1. We aim to raise awareness about the importance of sustainability, especially among the dynamic youth sector, and ensure that they align with the principles of  YESAction.

2. We strive to make our presence known beyond the local sphere by representing YESAction. at various events throughout the nation.

3. We continuously seek to expand our network by recruiting new chapters and fostering meaningful, lasting connections in order to increase our impact.

What’s YESOutreach’s Next Event? 

Shifting the spotlight to the national stage, October promises to be a pivotal month for YESOutreach. We're excited to participate in the Oregon SciFest! This event attracts a diverse range of students and organizations from across the country. One of the highlights will be Serene's insightful lecture on sustainability. In addition, I will be managing a specially curated booth where students can participate in an interactive jeopardy activity. It's more than just fun and games; it's a golden opportunity to amplify the message of YESAction.
